Bach Flower Remedies
Bach flower remedies, also known as Bach flower essences was developed by Dr Edward Bach. There are 38 original Bach flower remedies and each one is a dilution of a flower 'essence'. The 'essence' are viewed as specific unique qualities imparted by the flowers. These remedies in conjunction with 'Rescue Remedy', forms a complete system which aims to address emotional aspects and issues. Each remedy can be used in isolation or in conjunction with other flower remedies to create the optimum blend for each individual emotional predicament.
Bach Flower remedies are well-known worldwide and have inspired additional remedies and flower essence systems all over the world, e.g. the Scottish 'Findhorn Flower Essences', Suffolk 'Rose Cottage Essences', Australian 'Bush Flower Essences', 'South African Flower Essences', the Brazilian 'Mexico for Florais de Saint Germain Floral Essences' 'Alaska Essences', to name but a few. The concept of distilling and bottling a healing 'essence' has spread beyond flower essences to incorporate hundreds of other distilled 'essences', most notably crystal and gem essences, environmental essences and essences made from other parts of plants. The method of creating flower essences, most notable the sunlight method, has also been diversified to include more methods like the moonlight method.
